Ring Guidance - Promise

Promise Rings

Is a pre-engagement ring given to a romantic partner to signify a commitment to a monogamous relationship, often as a precursor to an engagement ring. They can be worn on any finger, but those symbolising pre-engagement are generally worn on the left ring finger.

After marrying, the couple may wear both engagement ring, promise ring and wedding ring on the same finger, or if they prefer, only the wedding rings. Some brides have their engagement and wedding rings permanently soldered together after marriage.
